Dan succeeds Peter Waite, who has served as Executive Director and has played a key role in strengthening CPCA’s operations, governance, events, and member engagement since 2022. Over the past couple of years, Dan has served as Deputy Executive Director, working closely with Peter, the Board, committees and members. Through this role, Dan has demonstrated strong leadership, deep sector knowledge, and a clear understanding of CPCA’s strategic priorities. We are excited to work with Dan as we enter the CPCA’s next phase of growth, advocacy, and member service. Transitioning from the Executive Director role, Peter Waite will continue to provide support in his capacity as Principal of Association & Events Management International (AEMI), the team providing management services to CPCA. Peter will continue to support CPCA ensuring continuity, stability, and ongoing institutional knowledge. The Board is confident that this leadership transition reflects CPCA’s commitment to strong governance, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.
