The only trade association for the instrumentation, automation and process industry in Canada, the Canadian Process Control Association is comprised of member companies involved in the development, production, sales and service of process control and automation products and systems.

Annual Membership Dues are based on annual sales and vary from $2,240 to $8,570. (Please note that only the CPCA office knows and has access to what the dues amount paid by individual companies is. This is kept confidential and reported to the Board only in aggregate.)

This quarterly report shows market share percentages for participating companies both nationally and regionally. New data is compared to the same quarter in previous years showing sales growth/ declines and market trends. Individualized reports are sent to each reporting company.
A quarterly comparison of shipment rates and incoming orders. Employee production hours and accounts receivable timing factor into predictions of order trends and sales volumes. This data is then analysed. The report also includes respondent rates for staffing, pricing and profit margin change expectations.
Benchmarks financial parameters with similar companies to determine how your gross profit, margins and other details compare to industry standards. This report is based specifically on the rep company structure and is provided quarterly.

When joining the CPCA the applying firm agrees that it will provide CPCA with certain statistical information which is otherwise proprietary or confidential to the member. The confidential information will be used solely and exclusively in connection with the relationship between the parties to publish aggregate statistics and analysis. CPCA recognizes that the information is confidential and proprietary to the member. The application form includes a Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement.
